Gadget here, gadget there, technology is everywhere
I’m a marketing and research lecturer at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle, the Netherlands with a focus on strategy, marketing and technology.
Like so many men and boys I feel very passionate about technology. Professionally I am interested in the intertwined relationship between technology and marketing strategy or in the question “How to gain competitive advantage through creative (technology) innovation?”.
Before becoming a lecturer I worked in IT for more than 10 years. I was employed by one of the most prestigious IT companies in Holland (BSO) who gave me the possibility to look into some very interesting and cutting edge technology developments. During that period I have met some great people. People making major contributions to e.g. communication satellites or medical care systems.
I have learned that flexibility and adaptability are key organisational skills to survive in the ever faster evolving technology landscape.
